Numbers and Stats:
- Facebook’s largest advertisers increased their spending by 10 fold over the past year.
- The Like button is now on over 350,000 websites. News, sports, publishing, and now shopping sites are the ones doing this.
- US Facebook traffic back to normal in July.
- Gained over 3M active users.
- 18-25 age range dropped a point and was picked up by the 13-17 age range.
- Although there is still more women on Facebook than men, men led growth across every age group.

- Mexico is about to overcome Canada as the second-largest Facebook market in North America.

Changes and Additions to Facebook:
Facebook will be changing the width (from 760 to 520 pixels) of their application tabs as well as anything to do with “Boxes” will be going away. All Facebook admins should be prepared with their new app tabs by August 23rd. More info on width change HERE.
New photo layout! You can now see up to 200 photos per page.
For friends that share the same link, Facebook provides threaded comments for each poster. In the photo, Manas, Vivek, and Jayesh have all posted the same link.

Facebook Testing: Ability to unsubscribe from getting notifications of comments after yours. Sometimes they can be pesky, but for brands, this means there may be less conversation.
