App Development for Dummies
Monday, July 12th, 2010App developers these days face the tough task of deciding whether or not they want to develop their app for one platform and make it big there or build for multiple platforms simultaneously and hope they can achieve a similar product across two platforms. Luckily for me, I’m not an app developer. I am, however, curious like a cat. So when I woke up this morning and saw that Google announced the Beta of App Inventor for Android, naturally I wanted to see what all the fuss was about.
Some of us at Spring Creek Group are setting out on a journey to see if a rag tag team of copywriters, advertisers and ne’er-do-wells can make an application that is worth its weight in pixels. Naturally, our design and coding team here at Spring Creek Group will be laughing and pointing the whole time.

For a shop that focuses on three key areas (analytics, engagement and campaigns) dividing and conquering the massive list of available panels at SxSWi becomes a somewhat easier task. However, even when you attack the festival with a team of eager attendees, you’re left with that nagging question: “What if I missed the single most-important panel of SxSWi?”
