Initiative Awards Wins 2012

  • IUM Sweden was named Media Agency of the Year by research company REGI, as voted for by 3,000 of the largest marketing directors, marketing managers and communication purchasers in Sweden
  • Initiative Germany won in the Radio category of the Deutscher Mediapreis 2012 for Grippostad C (Stada)
  • Initiative Hungary won Online Release of the Year for Chio at the Ringier Nepszabadsag Awards
  • Initiative Columbia was named Best Media Agency Network at the P&M Magazine Award
  • Initiative Portugal won two Golds, one Silver and one Bronze at the Creative Club Portuguese Festival. Both Gold awards were for Unilever campaigns - for Planta in the Best Use of Digital Media category and Ola in the Best Use of Content in Radio category. The Silver was for Sumol+ Compal in the Best Use of Content in TV category, and the Bronze for BMW’s Joy campaign, also in the Best Use of Digital Media category
  • IUM Sweden won Gold for the launch of Operation Smile in the Non-Profit Organisation of the Year category at the Sverige awards
  • The agency won two Effie’s this year: one Silver for Dr Pepper Snapple Group and one Bronze for Kia
